Bookkeeping questions
Monthly bookkeeping is a flat monthly fee based on how many accounts and transactions you have. We quote it up front after a short call, and we also work hourly if you prefer to pay as you go. Cleanup and catch-up projects get a fixed quote after we review a sample of your accounts.
Yes. Our founder is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and we keep books in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), Xero, Sage, Wave and FreshBooks. If you don't use accounting software yet, we can set up QuickBooks Online for you or start from your spreadsheets and bank statements.
Yes. We track taxable sales so the totals for your New Jersey sales tax return are ready each period, and at year-end we hand reconciled books to your tax preparer, or to us. Sales tax filings and tax returns are quoted separately.
No. We're based in Princeton, NJ and work with businesses across Mercer County, including West Windsor, Plainsboro, Lawrenceville and Montgomery. Most work happens by video call, phone and secure document upload.
